The Worldwide Institute of Mostly Sensible ideas has arrived. For now it's just this tumblr page (worth clicking on for the Fractal Bass alone). But one day it will be a institution. Between now and then we'll be doing some live nights in London.

That's right, What's On Stage have listed one of my spoken word shows among the 25 most "eye catching" titles at the Fringe this year. I can now proudly claim myself among the esteemed company of the 'Tesco Chainsaw Massacre' and 'Molly Wobbly's Tit Factory'.

The GMANATYA was a spectacular success! Not only did it attract an audience of over 15 people to watch Gareth Morinan's Edinburgh preview, but there was also a fun competition. Which Adam Larter won, with Katie O Brien and Ian Whifield runners up. LondonIsFunny's review of the competition is here.

Once you've had two articles published by a national newspaper you're officially a journalist. So imagine how happy I was when the Independent accepted a second one of my articles for printing (in their online blog). And as if that's not enough, my latest comedy data-analysis has been picked up by the Guardian Datablog! I might jack in this comedy lark and just become a writer, I mean just look at this blog post for instance, it's a literary masterpiece. 

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past century, you've probably heard that the Gareth Morinan Alternative New Act of The Year Award has started up again, and the final will be on the 2nd July!
